Product Overview

The NEO-M8Q is u-blox's compact M8 generation GNSS module featuring an integrated chip antenna — eliminating the need for an external patch antenna or ceramic antenna in tight PCB designs. This makes it ideal for mini whoops, micro FPV drones, and compact GPS trackers where board real estate is at a premium.

Compared to the NEO-M8N (which requires an external antenna), the NEO-M8Q's LCC-22 package with built-in antenna reduces BOM count and simplifies PCB layout. Performance-wise, both share the same M8 GNSS engine with concurrent multi-constellation reception.
