The TPS62110 is a high-frequency (1.2MHz) synchronous buck converter optimized for ultra-low quiescent current operation (17µA in PFM mode). The wide 2.9V–17V input range allows it to operate from 2S to 4S LiPo batteries, and the 1.5A output current suits sensor-only power rails that don't need the 3A capacity of TPS563201 or TPS5430.
In drone system design, the TPS62110 is ideal for generating the 3.3V or 1.8V supply for GPS modules, barometers, magnetometers, and OSD chips — peripherals that operate continuously even when the main MCU is in low-power mode. The PFM (Pulse Frequency Modulation) mode at light load maintains excellent efficiency even at 10mA loads.
