The MP1584 from Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) is a 3A synchronous step-down switching regulator with integrated MOSFETs. It operates at 1.5 MHz switching frequency, allowing the use of small external inductors and capacitors. The MP1584 converts 4.5V–28V input to a configurable 0.8V–25V output, ideal for powering STM32 flight controllers from 2S–6S LiPo batteries.
